Peppermint Essential Oil

$6

- Headache?
- Stomach ache? Gas?
- Nausea
- Post Workout Soreness
- DOMS

Peppermint essential oil can help relive headaches,
especially tension headaches. To use properly
dilute the oil and apply it to the back of your neck,
and around your shoulders. Peppermint dilates
blood vessels, which increases blood flow. For a
stomache ache or gas, use diluted oil with
peppermint massaged onto the belly and torso
area in a circular motion. Apply after a workout.
The oil will relieve muscle pain and spasms, and leave
you feeling very re-energized and enthusiastic.
For nausea you can sniff right from the bottle,
or use an aromatherapy inhaler, cotton ball or diffuser.

+ This Mentha x piperita was steam distilled in the US.

+ Peppermint is a must have in any home oil kit.

+ It's cooling and analgesic qualities make it ideal for massage.

---RECIPES---

After Nature Massage Oil
4 drops of Lavender essential oil
2 drops of Peppermint essential oil
2 teaspoons of carrier oil

Place all ingredients in a small dish or bottle. Stir and apply topically. This is the perfect answer to irritated or bitten skin that has had a great day outdoors. This will work best if you use after a shower. The lavender will reduce any mosquito bites or skin allergens you may be having from grass and weed exposure. The peppermint will cool and numb. Perfect after fun at the lake, a camping trip, fishing, or whatever irritates your legs. This recipe doubles as sore muscle massage oil!

Peppermint and Eucalyptus Sore Muscle Refreshing Massage Oil
2 drops of Peppermint essential oil
2 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil
2 teaspoons of carrier oil

Place all ingredients in a small dish or bottle. Stir and apply topically. This is a favorite in the massage industry.

Headache Massage Roll-on
4 drops of Peppermint essential oil
2 drops of Lavender essential oil
2 teaspoons of carrier oil
1 roller bottle

Combine all ingredients directly into roll on bottle. Snap on roller top, fasten lid, and agitate for a minute or two. Apply roller to the back of your neck along the base of your skull, gently applying pressure. This product may also be used on the temples, just make sure not to get it in your eyes, or touch the peppermint then touch your eyes.

Blend to Keep Ants Away
10 drops of Peppermint essential oil
2 teaspoons of unscented dish soap (I use Seventh Generation, but any will work)

Combine all ingredients in a small dish, then add it to warm running water in the sink. Using a sponge or dishcloth, use this water to wipe down all of your counter tops, windowsill, stove top, and other surfaces. You will feel an enhanced mood when cleaning with essential oils. For added effect, you can place one drop at a time of peppermint essential oil on a counter top or windowsill to keep ants away.

Sinus/Allergies Diffuser Blend
6 drops of Lavender essential oil
3 drops of Peppermint essential oil
6 drops of Lemon essential oil

Add drops and water to a plug-in diffuser and turn it on. I was sick with an allergy infection almost the entire month of June. I used this blend every single night. More so, I rushed home to rest and diffuse it as soon as I got off work. The times I was using it was the only times I had relief. The lavender is anti-inflammatory, the peppermint is analgesic and the lemon is antibacterial.
